Participation in HyAcademy.eu will enable Klaipeda University to strengthen both its study programmes and research activities. Plans include the integration of new study modules focused on hydrogen technologies, more systematic development of green innovation specialists, and attracting young people who are concerned about the future of sustainable energy. The partnership also opens pathways for student mobility, internships and professional networking with advanced European energy sector companies. For researchers, it provides increased opportunities to engage in international research projects, strengthen cooperation with leading green technology centres, and participate more actively in competitive funding calls.
HyAcademy.eu brings together universities and research institutions committed to accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy system and building a shared network of competences. Klaipėda University’s involvement in this initiative demonstrates a clear strategic choice: to invest in future technologies and to develop regional competences in areas where Europe is already shaping the energy landscape of tomorrow.
The awarded The European Hydrogen Academy certificate confirms the readiness of the Faculty of Marine Technologies and Natural Sciences to be an active part of the European clean energy competence platform and to contribute to the development of the rapidly growing hydrogen economy.
