On April 23-24, a workshop of the Advanced Modeling of Baltic Cancer e-caRe (AMBeR) project was hosted at Klaipeda University. The guests of the meeting were greeted by the rector of Klaipeda University, Prof. Dr. Artūras Razbadauskas and KU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation dr. Laura Šaltytė-Vaisiauskė.
Attendees included representatives from Lithuania (Klaipeda University and Klaipeda University Hospital), Denmark (notably PhD Gunn Ammitzbøll from Zealand University Hospital, Department of Clinical Oncology and Palliative Care), and Sweden (Patrik Göransson from Ängelholm hospital), with additional participants welcomed to join remotely.
The discussion not only centered on the research that is about to start at the Klaipeda University Hospital but also emphasized the groundwork for developing a patient-oriented monitoring model leveraging digital solutions. The primary objective of this innovation is to enable specialists to remotely monitor patients' conditions and track their progress during the rehabilitation process.
