Chandigarh University in India is currently hosting the prestigious "Global Education Summit 2023," with more than 50 prominent academic leaders representing over 40 universities from 25 countries, this summit aims to address pressing global issues, focusing on equal development for all communities and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are proud to have dr. Loreta Kelpšaitė-Rimkienė, professor and senior researcher, representing Klaipeda University at the summit, acting as a chair of the panel session focused on 'Inclusiveness Through Internationalization of Education'.
The summit's motto, "One Earth, One Family, One Future," fosters a sense of unity and shared responsibility for the future of our planet. The summit presents sub-themes, including "Innovations for Universal Well-Being", "Inculcating Human Values for Sustainability", "Internationalization for Universal Advancement", and "Inclusiveness Through Internationalization of Education." Moreover, it explores "Global Collaborations in Higher Education for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals". As education knows no borders, the Global Education Summit serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices.
